The world is fascinated with a healthy weight loss program, some for health reasons and others for cosmetic. No matter the reason, many people try harsh diets that never work, extreme exercise regimens that result in injuries or other weight loss program that end without success. The reason that none of these weight loss methods seem to work is because in order to stay with a program, you have to enjoy it. It has to be safe as well.
Below are 5 genuine tips to weight loss, which almost anyone can do without tossing out their favorite food or spending every spare minute in the gym. Realistically, any weight loss program will take time. People who promise you different are either lying or simply uninformed. the best way to test your results is to follow one weight loss program for 30 days, whatever it may be. If not, move on to something else. In the meantime, check out several tips to getting started today.
Tip # 1
Walking. You can strengthen your legs and heart as well burn some calories in the process just by setting aside 30 minutes each day to enjoy a leisurely stroll.
Tip # 2
Utilize a mini cycle. These little units look like bicycle pedals set up on a small bar but doesn’t have the high price of an exercise bike. Anywhere you can comfortably sit and reach the pedals like on a couch or at your desk is where you can use the mini cycle.
Tip # 3
Instead of taking the elevator, take the stairs. This is a terrific weight loss exercise without even noticing the extra effort. Simply taking a few extra steps everyday will have great benefits as far as losing weight is concerned. The next time you go to the store, park in the middle of the parking lot and walk to the store. Avoid parking in the closest spot to the door, which is tempting, but opt to walk instead.
Tip # 4
Eat your favorite foods in moderation instead of cutting them out all together. No single food will prevent you from losing weight unless that food is all that you eat. For instance, simply limit your intake to one candy bar or, if you are being really careful, a miniature candy. There is no reason to cut out your favorite food when a conservative amount of the things we love can still have a place in our lives, including during the times that we are focusing on weight loss.
Tip # 5
Whatever your exercise routine, set aside a certain time each day to do it. Rather than exercising only when you have time, set up a regular routine where you will be more likely to stay with it. The goal to a healthy weight diet is to make time.

As a Sydney personal trainer and boot camp instructor I hear a lot of the same questions over and over, especially about fat loss â?? and I find that almost all of the people who ask me these questions are making the same mistakes.
ÂÂ
Are you having a hard time losing those last couple of kilos? Do those last little areas of excess fat seem intractable?
ÂÂ
Here are a few of the most common mistakes Iâ??ve seen people make about fat loss, along with the solutions to these mistakes.
ÂÂ
1. Failing to train consistently. The object of training for fat loss is to increase your metabolism. The higher your metabolic rate, the more calories youâ??ll burn off naturally. Your metabolism will not increase as much as you would like if you fail to train regularly. Train at least three times per week.
ÂÂ
2. Not keeping track of your caloric intake. In order to lose weight, you have to burn off more calories than you take in. There is no training which can compensate for an unhealthy diet. Keep an eye on how many calories you are taking in â?? otherwise, youâ??ll have no idea when you are working out enough to have an effect on your weight. Keep a log if necessary.
ÂÂ
3. Drinking too much. Alcoholic beverages are full of empty calories. While you can have an occasional beer, it is important to understand exactly how many calories you are taking in this way â?? also, your body cannot burn fat while metabolizing alcohol! You should cut down or avoid alcohol altogether if youâ??re trying to lose fat.
ÂÂ
1 glass of wine (average): 130 Calories
ÂÂ
Regular beer: 150 Calories
ÂÂ
Pre-Mixed Smirnoff Raw, (all flavors): 230 Calorie
ÂÂ
4. Not varying your exercise routine. When you hit a plateau, it is often because you need to switch up your workouts. Change your routine every six workouts. Once youâ??ve done the same exercise 6 times in a row, you should either:
ÂÂ
a) Change the exercise
ÂÂ
b) Change the reps
ÂÂ
c) Change the sets
ÂÂ
d) Change the tempo (lifting speed)
ÂÂ
5. Giving up. Weight loss is not something which can be done overnight. You need to be patient and determined if you want to be successful. Youâ??ll start to notice a difference after a few weeks or so â??let this be your motivation to keep going. Above all, stick with it!
ÂÂ
6. Spot reduction. I often hear people say â??Iâ??m feeling fat around my thighs â?? time for squats!â? This kind of spot reduction of fat does not work, plain and simple. Your body just doesnâ??t work that way.
ÂÂ
If you avoid these six mistakes in your weight loss program, I can promise you that youâ??ll start to see better results in less time.
ÂÂ
Train Hard!
