One of the things I just love about YouTube is everyone gets the ability to comment – even if it says more about the commenter than it does about the video!

    Hi Julie, I read …
Hi Julie, I read the book a few times before and failed. After listening to your comments, you’ve put it into perspective. I would stop for money and health reasons, big mistake. “you had enough” sounds logical. You said the right things and they’ve gelled in my mind. Freedom at last. Thanks, Declan, Ireland

  9. mothersuperior03 Says:

    I read the book …
I read the book once, failed. Read it again 9 months later it worked. Shes right, it’s soo easy! 3 months, not a puff and it’s totally out of my life! It doesn’t exist in my life and the though of putting smoke in my lungs is very alien to me!

  10. chilzilla Says:

    I just turned 18, …
I just turned 18, i”ve been smoking for 2 years and it’s got such ahold that it’s like i can’t do ANYthing without a smoke. But i have such low willpower and im kinda wierd like this but their has to be a “trigger” to my brain that makes me want to quit, and this video is really helping.

    I agree – just have …
I agree – just have something to tell yourself when the monster rears his head. I can’t remember though the last time it did for me. It’s now over two years. I’m so glad I found Allen Carr’s book. Regards Julie

  12. secrettomlmsuccess Says:

    Seriously good …
Seriously good choices! Good luck – not that you will need it, if you read the book and take it in. I wish you well. Regards Julie

Hi Tim – this is the book that I used – and I don’t smoke 2 years later – after smoking for 35 years + – 40/day. Just make sure you have something to say to yourself when the little demon niggles at you! Regards Julie

  14. Balela1912 Says:

    I am quitting next …
I am quitting next week as I am taking a medicine (prescribed by a physician of course) that “blocks” or helps to reduce withdrawal symptoms. After 6 days of taking the medicine, “D” day comes. After this video I have bought Allen Carr’s book, scouting You Tube, etc. Anything that helps me deal with the process.

  15. tim10o0o0 Says:

    Be careful tho cos …
Be careful tho cos last time i gave up i lasted six wks and then it started getting difficult cos the novelty of giving up wears off. So i started smoking one when i went out, then a few when i went out, then id have some left next day and finish them, then boom – your no different from you were b4. If you start glamorizing cigs in your head and getting withdrawal pangs, then remember – all smokers want to give up deep down, and those pangs are the death of a monster!! NICOTINE IS EVIL !!!

  16. tim10o0o0 Says:

    I’m on chapter 26 …
I’m on chapter 26 of easy way to stop smoking. The instructions are you got to keep smoking till the end of the book, but i think ill give up when iv finished because its making me feel different about smoking now. Written by an ex very heavy smoker, It totally breaks down the stupid reasons we think we smoke for and is very liberating. So I recommend it if your trying to quit, its helped lots of people! Good luck everyone

  17. Neenale Says:

    i started claping …
i started claping my hands at 5:00

  18. xOperationIvy Says:

hey thanks for making this video! It really helps to think about smoking from different perspectives(i.e. my body craving the nicotine, i dont really want a cig) so thank you for the enlightenment :)

  19. frizzcat Says:

that is not true – …
that is not true – everyone has about the same chance of quitting and that difference has nothing to do with age, but with other factors such as other addictions.

  20. zazammweightloss Says:

    what a great video! …
what a great video! Thank You! I am getting ready to quit.

  21. urchop Says:

    good for you. I …
good for you. I quit too. It has been almost a month. No more junky funkies.

  22. casualtimmy Says:

    thank you for this …
thank you for this video. i’m going to try quitting in the next few days after my friends wedding day. ( i don’t want to ruin it! lol)

  23. Northdick99 Says:

    Remember 2 things …
Remember 2 things in your head – The BIG demon and the SMALL demon. The SMALL demon is the physical addiction to nicotine – OK, it can be a bit hard for 2 weeks. Then, when all the has left your system, the BIG demon kicks in, and it’s his thoughts of “nice” smoke, enjoyment etc… REALISE that the smoke has GONE, you only THOUGHT you enjoyed it, when actually all you were doing was enjoying the cessation of NICOTINE WITHDRAWL SYMPTOMS! Rule your life! STOP! Get on with it! Gud Luk!

  24. howiedo85 Says:

    “cigarette smokers …
“cigarette smokers are junkies” Soooo TRUE! cigarettes are 100X worse than weed, alcohol, and most pills…people who smoke don’t want to admit it, i should know, i’m a smoker…i pray that i quit soon for basic training…

  25. kselogcob666 Says:

    Seriously, i …
Seriously, i started when i was 13, i am now 18 and still haven’t quit, and by that i mean i still get cravings.
But i dont intake nicotine and i will admit, i am happy.

  26. Dennis Says:

Quitting smoking is as easy as it is to start smoking. If you can, try to remember the first time you smoked a cigarette and that nauseous feeling as the poison (yes poison) started you on a slow road to suicide. Now imagine yourself free of that poison, it’s as simple as just not smoking another cigarette ever. Don’t get hooked into thinking you need a magic pill or patch. It’s as simple as saying “It’s easy to quit.” As time goes by you’ll feel fantastic, you’ll have tons of energy, and enjoy life again. It’s easy!
